We are over 340 employees at Folktandvården Kronoberg, and our operations consist of general dental care and specialist dental care, a development clinic, a mobile clinic, an administrative office, and a Service Center. We have clinics in 6 of the 8 municipalities in the county, and our common mission is to create good oral health for the people of Kronoberg. To achieve good oral health, we work health-promoting and preventive, we use new technology, and we are available when patients need us.

Our largest general dental clinic, with about 35 employees, is the clinic in Ljungby-Lagan. We are now looking for two dental hygienists.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

What can you expect as a dental hygienist with us?

Your work here will be both varied, developing, and fun thanks to a diverse patient group. You will meet patients of all ages and with different dental care needs, which gives you the opportunity to use and develop your entire competence as a dental hygienist.

1. Overall introduction that gives you a good insight into our organization and the opportunity to meet other newly hired employees.
2. Operationally close introduction that helps you find your place in the clinic, get to know your colleagues, and answers practical questions. If you are newly graduated, you will receive guidance from an experienced colleague, and you will use a common checklist for the clinical introduction. We know that the transition from school to working life can be significant, and we want to ensure that you feel secure in all the moments that will be part of your clinical everyday life. We are a large clinic, which means that there is always someone to consult on-site at the clinic.

We want to offer our patients good accessibility, which is why the clinic is open Monday-Thursday from 7 AM to 7 PM and on Fridays from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. This setup means that we work in shifts and that the teams alternate in the treatment rooms. The working time model is highly appreciated as it is experienced as less stressful, among other things, due to the clearly allocated administrative time. With us, you work in nice treatment rooms with modern equipment and technology.

Since we operate in both Ljungby and Lagan, it may be relevant for you to work at both clinics.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a Swedish dental hygienist license, with or without previous experience in the profession. You have a passionate commitment to the job as a dental hygienist, you place great importance on the dental quality, and you are interested in helping us develop the business while developing yourself. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude who contributes to our good atmosphere at the clinic.
