We are over 340 employees at Folktandvården Kronoberg and our operations consist of general dentistry and specialist dental care, a development clinic, mobile clinic, administrative office, and Service Center. We have clinics in 6 of the 8 municipalities in the region, and our common mission is to create good oral health for the residents of Kronoberg. To achieve good oral health, we work health-promoting and preventive, we use new technology, and we are present when patients need us.

Our largest general dentistry clinic, with about 35 employees, is the clinic in Ljungby-Lagan. We are now looking for two dentists.

Your work here will be varied, developing, and enjoyable thanks to a diverse patient group. You will meet patients of all ages and with different dental care needs, which gives you the opportunity to use and develop your entire competence as a general dentist.

1. An overall introduction that gives you a good insight into our organization and the opportunity to meet other newly hired employees.
2. A clinic-specific introduction that helps you find your way in the clinic, get to know your colleagues, and answers practical questions. If you are newly graduated, you will receive guidance from an experienced colleague, and you will work from a shared checklist for the clinical introduction. We know that the transition from school to work can be significant, and we want to ensure that you feel secure in all aspects that will be part of your clinical everyday life. We are a large clinic, which means that there is always someone to consult on-site. In the same premises as our clinic in Ljungby, there is also specialist activity, and there is often the opportunity to consult or discuss when specialist dentists are present.

We want to offer our patients good accessibility, which is why the clinic is open Monday to Thursday from 7 AM to 7 PM and on Fridays from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. This setup means that we work in shifts and that the teams alternate in the treatment rooms. The working time model is highly appreciated as it is experienced as less stressful, partly because there is clearly allocated administrative time. With us, you work in nice treatment rooms with modern equipment and technology.

Since we operate in both Ljungby and Lagan, it may be necessary for you to work at both clinics.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a Swedish dental license, with or without previous experience in the profession. You have a passionate commitment to the job as a dentist, you place great importance on the dental quality, and you are interested in helping us develop the business while also developing yourself. We seek someone with a positive attitude who contributes to our good atmosphere in the clinic.

All general dentists employed by Folktandvården Kronoberg with at least two years of work experience are included in our weekend on-call service. This means that you work an average of three Saturdays/Sundays or full days per year. Special agreements exist for compensation for our weekend on-call.
