The Radiology Department in Växjö is part of the organization for imaging and functional medicine, together with radiology in Ljungby and clinical physiology. At our radiology department in Växjö, most common radiological examinations are performed. The department currently consists of about 100 employees in the professional groups of nursing assistants, radiology nurses, radiologists, and medical secretaries. We have a pleasant working environment with good camaraderie and a positive educational and development climate.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We perform most common radiological examinations such as conventional radiography, ultrasound, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, angiography, mammography, and nuclear medicine, both with SPECT-CT and PET-CT. We are equipped with modern machinery and have close collaboration with clinical specialties. As a radiologist, the main task is image review, but you will also examine patients with ultrasound, perform fluoroscopy examinations, and various types of interventions.

In recent years, we have renovated our premises, and we are proud of our beautiful department.

The operations are mainly conducted during the day with on-call services in the evenings. Possibility for remote work is available by agreement.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a Swedish medical license and specialized in medical radiology or imaging and functional medicine. As a person, you are engaged, structured, and have an easy time collaborating with others. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. The position also includes on-call duties during evenings and weekends.
