Your Role

We are looking for a quality engineer who wants to be part of our growing team in production quality. As a quality engineer, you will coordinate, control, and plan quality assurance activities and drive quality issues in various forums.

The role involves significant responsibility and offers excellent opportunities to influence and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement where the product and customer are in focus. With us, you will have the opportunity to apply your expertise in practice and be a key player in ensuring the highest quality in our production.

Some of your main tasks include:

• Reviewing and evaluating work methods to ensure compliance with applicable requirements and directives
• Internal audits related to products, production, and their processes.
• Gemba walks
• Coordinating and following up on our handling of production-related deviations, NCR. (Non-Conformance Report)
• Coordinating and following up on CAPA cases (Corrective and Preventive Action)
• Coordinating and following up on MRB meetings. (Material Review Board)
• Value stream analyses for ongoing series production
• 5S and Lean work

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is analytical, solution-oriented, and meticulous in their work. You are humble, thrive in change, and find it easy to collaborate with many different stakeholders. You are confident in your knowledge, take responsibility for your tasks, and work systematically with a strong drive to deliver high quality.

To succeed in this role, you have a bachelor's degree in quality engineering or equivalent experience in the field. We also believe you have some experience in quality work. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English and can communicate clearly and explain complex quality issues in an understandable way.

It is also advantageous if you have knowledge of quality systems and quality standards as well as experience in Lean, root cause analysis, and Six Sigma.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the current regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, it may, in some cases, require certain citizenship.
