Do you have a burning interest in compensation issues and want to help continue developing Husqvarna's service in payroll and benefits? We are currently looking for someone to strengthen our fantastic Payroll team in Sweden.
About us
People & Organization at Husqvarna Group is in an intense and exciting development phase. Our Payroll team consists of 8 individuals who are experts in payroll specialization, travel management, HR administration, and related areas. Together, we work to ensure that our approximately 2,900 employees across Sweden receive accurate salaries and other compensations.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and developing team where no day is the same. Additionally, the workplace offers many opportunities for personal and professional development.
Your role
In your role as a payroll specialist, you will not only deliver accurate salaries to our employees but also contribute to improving our processes. You will have the opportunity to participate in exciting projects aimed at advancing our operations as an important step in automating and digitizing parts of the work. In this role, you will primarily work with payroll for employees in Sweden, but the department also handles payroll for employees in Norway, where there are opportunities for you to develop.
You will have many internal contacts, which means high availability to answer questions from HR Partners, managers, and employees regarding salary, other benefits, taxes, and more. You will also have some external contact with, for example, our payroll and time reporting system providers (HR Plus and Medvind).
Your profile
To succeed in this role, we believe you are an independent and driven person who enjoys working in a team. You have the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems. It is advantageous if you have worked with payroll for more Nordic countries than Sweden. If you are also interested in improving and working purposefully to simplify work processes through system usage, it is a significant advantage. You are resilient and can act effectively even when circumstances change. Since your work involves both internal and external contacts, you are outgoing and have good communication skills. Additionally, you are someone who enjoys collaborating, is positive, and has a curiosity for development and continuous improvement.
Desired experience and qualifications:
- Have a degree from a university or college or a vocational education in Payroll or equivalent experience.
- 2-4 years of experience in qualified payroll work is advantageous.
- You are proficient in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- It is a plus if you have worked in companies that apply collective agreements within the private industrial sector.
- Experience with HR Plus/Medvind or SD Worx systems is advantageous.
Location
The position is based at our office in Huskvarna, where we meet three days a week, with the possibility to work from home two days.
Application
We welcome your application in the form of a cover letter and CV. In accordance with GDPR, we do not accept applications via email. The application period runs over the Christmas and New Year holidays. We review applications continuously and will invite candidates for interviews after the holidays. At Husqvarna, we value work-life balance and ensure everyone has the opportunity to recharge for a good start to the new year.
