The Position

As a business developer, your primary task is to create study circles, courses, and cultural events within cultural and educational activities. You will work independently based on the region's operational plan and goals. You will plan, implement, and follow up on activities based on our premises in Värnamo. The role also includes outreach work and developing both existing and new collaborations with associations and affiliated groups throughout the county together with colleagues in Jönköping. Travel is included in the position, and a personal car is required, with mileage compensation provided.

This is a broad role, and you will work on recruiting and engaging circle leaders, assisting associations with their activities, and supporting them in their educational efforts. You will also be responsible for collaborating with Medborgarskolan's daily operations Glädjekällan, other study associations, municipalities, and the region in the county. A sales-oriented profile, good communication skills, and strong self-leadership are important and crucial for success in this role. You will work closely with other colleagues in the county. In Värnamo, we collaborate on premises with Medborgarskolan's daily operations, Glädjekällan.

Your Profile

The work involves many contacts both internally and externally, so you should have the willingness and ability to communicate with others in a pedagogical and structured way, both verbally and in writing. You feel comfortable in new contexts and have a genuine interest in all people, regardless of background. A prerequisite for success in the assignment is your ability to collaborate with others, which is why we place great emphasis on your collaborative skills and personal suitability.

Education and Experience

• We are looking for someone who has completed upper secondary education.
• Good IT skills, very good knowledge of digital working methods.
• Experience in business development, budgeting, and simple calculations.
• Experience in independently planning, leading, and organizing activities.
• Preferably experience in popular education, but not a requirement.
• Good knowledge of communication, basic marketing, and sales.
• Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing Swedish.
• Driver's license (B) and access to a personal car.
