The Unit for Innovation and Knowledge Development in Public Dental Care is looking for an experienced business developer with an interest in digitalization and knowledge of healthcare processes. Welcome to an exciting, innovative, and unique unit that contributes to Public Dental Care's goal – to be Sweden's best dental care organization by 2030!

The Role of Business Developer

As a business developer in Public Dental Care, you will be a key person in our development and strategic work. Your mission is to drive development together with the organization that strengthens quality, patient safety, and innovation. You will work closely with colleagues in the unit as well as with the organization at large to translate strategies into concrete improvements in everyday life.

In your role, you are expected to capture the needs of the organization and translate them into concrete change activities. You will analyze the organization's processes, identify areas for development, and lead the work to create new, more effective, and sustainable working methods. You will facilitate dialogues and workshops, lead improvement projects, and engage the organization in change work. Digitalization, quality, and continuous improvement are central parts of the mission.

Your Workplace

Public Dental Care in Jönköping County has the ultimate responsibility for dental care in the county. We are the fourth largest public dental care organization in the country, with approximately 700 employees working to provide the best possible oral health for the county's residents.

We have 26 general dental clinics, specialist dental care at the Dental Institute with all nine dental specialties, as well as a national competence center for rare dental conditions. The operation is characterized by both business acumen and our mission as a public actor with a public health assignment.

The Unit for Innovation and Knowledge Development is a forward-thinking and cross-professional unit with employees in IT, knowledge management, skills development, patient safety, project management, and quality development. Here, you will be part of a group with high competence, great drive, and teamwork. The unit is led by a confident and experienced manager, and you will also have close dialogue with the management team of Public Dental Care.

Your Profile

For the role, it is required that you have several years of experience in business development, process management, and change work within healthcare, as well as a relevant university education, at least a bachelor's degree.

Preferably, you have training in project management and/or quality work within healthcare.

You understand the complexity of the healthcare mission and have the ability to balance patient safety, accessibility, and efficiency with good conditions for both the organization and employees. You are driven to develop processes that simplify and improve everyday life in healthcare and use your analytical ability and systematic approach to achieve results.

You are confident in leading and driving development issues in a complex environment and have a genuine interest in leading employees and managers through change – both in the short and long term. You enjoy creating participation and contributing to a culture where improvements become a natural part of everyday life. You have good communication skills and navigate smoothly in the meeting between technology, organization, and employees. You are attentive, patient, and have a holistic perspective in your way of prioritizing and making decisions. A driver's license (B) is preferred.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Our Offer to You

The position is a permanent full-time employment starting by agreement. You will have good opportunities to influence how the role develops and the opportunity for many points of contact within the entire Jönköping County Region where collaboration and exchange of experiences take place.
