Your new job
As a business developer, you will be part of the technical office and the Business Service department.
We want to make everyday life easier for the municipality's employees and contribute in various ways, through good service, to making Jönköping Municipality a more attractive workplace. The department consists of four operations that include cleaning, receptions, courier services, maintenance, conference services, cafes, and operational support.
As a business developer, you will be part of the Operational Support unit, where you will assist other operations together with your colleagues. With us, you will have the opportunity to create the best conditions for work and learning. As a business developer, you will be a strategic link between management's vision and operational work. You will contribute to the department achieving its goals and meeting future challenges by coordinating, developing, and quality-assuring competence development, driving projects, and supporting managers and employees.
Responsibilities
- Create, develop, and administer training in the municipality's digital competence portal, including troubleshooting, support, and training of users
- Production of instructional videos and training materials
- Plan, lead, and follow up on assigned projects within competence development and other department-wide assignments
- Map competence and language levels, initiate language tests, and work with digital language courses to strengthen Swedish skills
- Develop and revise concepts for new employees, interns, summer, and seasonal workers
- Carry out assigned tasks within internal communication through various meeting forums, newsletters, and intranet as well as production of informational materials
- Monitor the external environment and network with other municipalities and external actors
Your main workplace will be at Västra Storgatan 16, with regular working hours from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Flexible working hours apply to the position, allowing some adjustment of the workday within established frameworks.

Your qualifications

Your pedagogical skills enable you to effectively develop and improve the processes of the organization. You are structured, plan, and organize your work so that tasks are completed correctly and on time. Additionally, you have a good overall perspective and understand how different parts of the organization interact and affect each other. You have good presentation skills and are used to adapting content to the target audience and speaking in front of small and larger groups.
You work independently and take responsibility for driving your tasks forward. Your flexibility allows you to quickly adapt to new and changing conditions. You find it easy to create contacts and enjoy building networks, both within and outside the organization. Furthermore, you are proactive and dare to suggest and test new ideas that contribute to the department's development.
Requirements
- University degree in pedagogy or equivalent documented competence as assessed by the employer
- Several years of experience working with competence development and building courses based on needs
- Documented competence and knowledge in project management
- Experience in digital learning and film production
- Driver's license (B)
Desirable
- Experience in language development for adults with Swedish as a second language
- Experience working in the public sector

Good to know
The recruitment concerns a permanent position at 100% with a start during the spring by agreement. The position may begin with a probationary period.
