Introduction

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Payroll and Accounting Administrator to join SEW EURODRIVE, a leading company in drive technology for the industry. You will be part of our administration team at our headquarters in Jönköping, where we are now moving into a new state-of-the-art factory. About the Role

As a Payroll and Accounting Administrator, you will play a central role in our administration, responsible for managing the company's payroll and personnel administration as well as certain financial tasks. The role is divided into two main areas: 70% of the work focuses on HR and payroll, while 30% is directed towards finance. You will report directly to the HR manager and work closely with the finance function to ensure efficient and accurate payroll processing for our approximately 100 employees.

Qualifications

To succeed in the role of Payroll and Accounting Administrator, we see that you have the following qualifications:

Mandatory Qualifications:

• At least 3–5 years of experience in a similar role within payroll administration.
• Good practical experience in payroll processing according to the Teknikavtalet Unionen/Sveriges Ingenjörer/Metall/Ledarna.
• Good understanding of labor law, collective agreements, and payroll-related legislation.
• Ability to work independently and closely with HR and finance.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience working with the payroll system Agda/Visma.
• Knowledge of VAT declarations and liquidity reporting.

Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Calculating and preparing payroll payment proposals according to applicable collective agreements and Swedish tax legislation.
• Managing and administering employee absence, vacation, and other payroll-related issues.
• Administering employment contracts and other personnel-related documents through the payroll system Agda.
• Reviewing, coding, and posting general ledger entries and assisting with monthly and annual financial closing.
• Processing payroll payments and handling other general ledger entries in collaboration with a colleague.
