Real Estate Lawyer at the Swedish Courts Administration
As an employee at the Swedish Courts Administration, you have the opportunity to actively contribute to the development of the entire Swedish Courts system, which consists of about 80 courts, authorities, and boards with approximately 7,000 employees. About 400 employees at the Swedish Courts Administration work to develop and support the Swedish Courts, with the main office located centrally in Jönköping, and local offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, and Umeå. We are working on developing court premises for the Swedish Courts and are now looking for you, a real estate lawyer with a focus on real estate law and commercial lease law. If you are engaged and driven in your field and enjoy working with colleagues on projects, this could be the job for you.
Responsibilities
You will work with contracts, negotiations, and procurements where you will be an important part of the team. You will draft relevant agreements such as lease agreements, implementation agreements, and construction contracts. You are responsible for ensuring that construction, procurement, and contract issues are driven long-term and strategically. Your work will include contributing strategic direction for negotiations and setups for local projects, as well as drafting relevant agreements such as lease agreements, implementation agreements, and construction contracts. You will also develop and continuously update procedures, template documents, and renegotiate lease agreements. You will participate in meetings and negotiations with both property owners and government representatives. You will be responsible for providing qualified support to the department's colleagues.

We are looking for someone who has:
- A bachelor's degree in law or a law degree.
- In-depth understanding of commercial lease law, lease legislation, and management of lease agreements.
- Experience negotiating and drafting complex real estate legal agreements.
- The ability to conduct and lead lease negotiations.
- Expertise in providing expert support in commercial lease law.
- Knowledge of construction law and experience handling construction legal issues.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- We expect you to be computer literate and have a very good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
- Good knowledge of the Public Procurement Act (LOU) and related legislation.
Who are we?
The project unit consists of 14 employees working as construction project managers, interior project managers, economists, and real estate lawyers. We are one of three units in the Property Department. Our mission is to be responsible for the local supply of the Swedish Courts, which includes renting as well as renovating and constructing court premises.

The employment is a permanent full-time position. The position is based in Jönköping. A probationary period may apply. Selection and interviews may occur on an ongoing basis.

Some of our positions require security clearance before a hiring decision is made. This means that security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) will be conducted if applicable.
