JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

This year, all EU member states will conduct a statistical survey of the structure of agriculture. In Sweden, the statistics unit at the Swedish Board of Agriculture will carry out the survey. Therefore, we will send out a survey to all Swedish agricultural companies at the end of May.

We are now looking for a total of 10 people who are interested in working on the survey:

  • May 25 - November 27: 3-4 people
  • June 8 - August 21
  • May 25 - August 21: 6-7 people distributed over both periods

Much of the work will involve collecting and quality-checking data from farmers. You will work on registering, sorting, scanning, verifying, and checking incoming forms. You will have direct contact with farmers over the phone, both to answer questions and to interview those who have not responded to the survey. During August, the work will mainly focus on telephone interviews. The working hours during the employment will be scheduled one to two days a week between 10:30 AM and 7:00 PM at the beginning of the summer. On remaining days, you will work from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The work will be performed on-site at the head office in Jönköping.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with at least a high school diploma. Our working language is Swedish, so you need to understand and express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written. Knowledge of agriculture or statistics is an advantage, and we also value experience in customer service/telephone support, data collection, and statistical surveys, as well as familiarity with working with numbers in Excel and other IT systems. For the positions that will continue until November, it is also advantageous if you have several years of experience in administrative tasks.

We place great importance on your personal abilities! We are looking for someone who can work in a structured and engaged manner throughout the survey. You need to be meticulous and able to follow guidelines and decisions. You enjoy collaborating with others and actively contribute to a good work climate. Since you will have a lot of contact with various farmers, it is important that you have the ability to be attentive and accommodating in your interactions.

Warm welcome to submit your application!

OTHER

The place of employment is Jönköping, and the work will be conducted on-site at the office. Selection and interviews will take place continuously during the application period.
