About the Position
We are now looking for a part-time finance assistant for the Swedish Courts Administration in Jönköping. This position is suitable for students who want to combine their studies with a rewarding part-time job in the public sector. As a finance assistant, you will primarily work with the handling and coding of supplier invoices. You will also have the opportunity to develop and deepen your knowledge in invoice management and financial administrative processes within a larger organization.
Organizationally, you will belong to the Unit for Financial Administration, which is responsible for the ongoing financial reporting of the organization. The unit consists of nine employees and a unit manager.
Other Common Tasks:
- Work with ongoing accounting and bookkeeping
- Work with general ledger
- Work in financial systems (e.g., Unit 4 ERP, Raindance, Visma, etc.)
- Coding, invoice verification, preparation of data processing materials, and reconciliation of account balances
- Work with accounts payable and receivable
- Participate in year-end closing work
- Respond to inquiries about payments and receipts.
At the Swedish Courts Administration, approximately 400 employees work to develop and support the Swedish Courts. The main office is centrally located in Jönköping, with local offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, and Umeå.
Assignment Period and Scope:
The position of finance assistant is a part-time consulting assignment with a flexible working degree, estimated at 40-50% of a full-time position, adjusted according to the needs of the organization.
The assignment is planned to start in February/March and is expected to initially last until after the summer, with a possibility of extension. During the period of June-August, the scope is preliminarily full-time in connection with summer replacements.
Placement in the Swedish Courts Administration's premises in Jönköping. Work is performed during daytime on weekdays without weekends.
Requirements for the Position:
- Ongoing studies in finance/accounting at the university level with an interest in combining work and studies
- Previous experience in financial administrative work
- Experience working in financial systems
- Good knowledge of the Office suite, especially Excel
- Good ability to express oneself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

Meritorious for the Position:
- Experience in financial administrative work within the Swedish Courts Administration
- Experience with Unit4 ERP, which is the financial system of the Swedish Courts Administration.
