We are now looking for a communicator for Jönköping Municipality's communications department. We are looking for someone who wants to work with communication in close collaboration with operations at the city office. You are structured and organized but also have the ability to quickly adapt based on the situation. You are attentive and listen to needs, initiating proposals for communication efforts based on purpose and goals. You navigate confidently and adeptly in digital and social channels.

As a communicator focusing on the city office's operations, you will work strategically and operationally with various communication assignments. You will plan, implement, and follow up on communication activities in close collaboration with operations and projects. You will support and coach key individuals in communication matters. You will develop communication plans, formulate messages, texts, and content for different target groups and channels.

You have a holistic view of communication and keep track of deadlines and goals. You have an unpretentious manner and are happy to share knowledge and practical tips.

You are interested in social issues and have an attentive manner. You listen and immerse yourself in operational issues and propose suitable communication efforts.

You will be part of a communications department with many knowledgeable colleagues with whom you can develop your skills in everyday work.

Your responsibilities include:

• Strategic and operational communication support to the city office
• Initiating, planning, and implementing internal and external communication efforts
• Editorial work in our channels
• Supporting leadership roles in messaging and communication strategies for various contexts
• Some photo and film assignments
• Graphic production based on templates

The position also includes other types of regular tasks within the communications department.

We are looking for someone who has:

• University degree in media and communication or equivalent
• Several years of work experience in the communication field
• Experience supporting managers and employees in communication
• Experience working in digital channels
• Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• Experience setting goals, analyzing, and following up on communication activities using analysis tools such as Google Analytics
• Experience with AI tools as support in communication work

It is an advantage if you have:

• Worked with the publishing tool Sitevision
• Training in communication
• Experience in communication work within public operations
• Experience in media relations
