About the Position

We are now looking for a Digital Communicator for the Swedish Board of Agriculture in Jönköping! In this role, you will help develop a digital contact point for municipalities, providing guidance and training on aquaculture and supervision. The Swedish Board of Agriculture is the government’s expert authority in agricultural policy, focusing on promoting sustainable food production and animal welfare.

The position includes the following tasks:

• Develop www.svensktvattenbruk.se (http://www.svensktvattenbruk.se) in SiteVision as it will function as a digital platform.
• Develop and be responsible for a communication plan.
• Assist in creating online training programs.
• Write articles for the web.
• Work in Teams and Zoom to invite and be technically responsible for conducting webinars.

Assignment Period and Scope:

The position as a Digital Communicator is a full-time consultancy assignment starting on 2026-02-02 and is expected to last until 2026-12-23.

Working hours are Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:30 with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The work will be performed on-site at the Swedish Board of Agriculture in Jönköping. Possibility for partial remote work can be arranged by agreement.

Requirements for the Position:

• Higher education, for example in media and communication or equivalent education, and at least five (5) years of work experience in similar roles.
• Good knowledge of digital communication and social media.
• Knowledge and experience with web publishing tools (SiteVision, etc.).
• Knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g., Matomo, Piwik Pro, Siteimprove, etc.).
• Knowledge of optimization and development of digital channels.
• Knowledge of usability and accessibility for digital channels.
• Good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to express oneself clearly and be comfortable writing own articles for the web.
• Experience in public sector work and understanding the requirements for being impartial, clear, and able to tailor all forms of communication efforts to the target audience.
• Experience with Teams and ability to invite and be technically responsible for webinars.
• Experience producing and editing video as well as working with subtitling and other accessibility adaptations.
• Ability to provide the following two (2) reference assignments:
• One (1) assignment demonstrating knowledge and experience in web development.
• One (1) assignment demonstrating knowledge and experience in film production, editing, and publishing.

We see that you have experience with digital strategies, strong communication and collaboration skills, and knowledge of analytical tools. You should have the ability to adapt to new technologies.
