As a development leader, you have a strategically important role responsible for strengthening the organization's ability to govern, follow up, and develop financial assistance in a legally secure and sustainable manner. You are placed directly under the area manager and work in close collaboration with unit managers, senior social workers, and the organization's working groups.

The role is cohesive and supportive rather than operational. The practical development work largely takes place within existing structures such as working groups and through senior social workers, while you are responsible for direction, coherence, and follow-up. You act as a link between management's goals, the organization's needs, and the digital systems used in case management.

You work with operational management, follow-up, and analysis and serve as a strategic support to the area manager on issues related to governing documents, decision-making bases, and long-term direction.

The development assignment means that you, in dialogue with the area manager, initiate and coordinate development efforts with a particular focus on follow-up, analysis, and operationally close digital support. An important area is to support the organization in adapting to changed activity requirements and other legislative changes that affect working methods, follow-up, and collaboration.

You contribute to the development of key figures, analysis, and visualization of operational data and participate in the introduction and further development of operational systems, e-services, and digital support in close collaboration with responsible support functions. The role does not involve operational system responsibility, but rather an operationally close perspective on how digital solutions best support case management and decision-making.

Your qualifications

You have a completed and approved social work education of 210 credits, or another approved and completed higher education of at least 180 credits that the employer assesses as equivalent.

You have several years of experience in public authority work within financial assistance. It is advantageous if you have previously worked in a leading/coordinating role. Of course, you have a good understanding of legal application, operational processes, and follow-ups within social services, as well as experience working with analysis, follow-up, and operational management. You have a good understanding of systems and experience working in operational systems, preferably Pulsen Combine, and a genuine interest in how technology can improve welfare.

Experience in development, coordination, or change work, experience with legislative or regulatory changes that affect the organization's structure and follow-up, and experience in digital development initiatives or the use of digital analysis tools in operational development is advantageous.

You have excellent knowledge of the Swedish language in speech, reading, and writing. A valid driver's license (B) is required for the position.

To thrive in the role, you are analytical, structured, and have a good ability to see the whole and long-term consequences.
