Development Strategist in Aneby Municipality

About the Role
As a development strategist, you play a key role in Aneby Municipality's strategic development work and work to realize the municipality's vision by leading and supporting the organization's activities in digitalization, data-driven development, and change management. You will have close collaboration with the municipality's management and other support functions. Your role is both strategic and operational – you are proactive and take initiatives, lead and participate in processes and projects, and build the future Aneby together with others.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Driving and coordinating the municipality's development work with a focus on digitalization and supporting the activities in their development efforts in the area.
- Promoting increased digital maturity.
- Information security issues.
- Monitoring the external environment regarding digitalization and development and spreading knowledge within the organization.
- Collaboration with other municipalities, regions, authorities, and external actors.
- Supporting managers and employees in the ongoing transformation work.
Your tasks will also include:
- Working with strategic development issues.
- Following up on development work and creating structures to ensure that the changes made are sustainable over time.
- Leading, supporting, and participating in the implementation of new digital solutions and tools, for example, in data-driven development, AI, and the implementation of initiatives in SKR's Handslaget.
- Preparing decision-making materials, conducting investigations, and responding to referrals.
- Participating in various networks related to development and digitalization.
- Coordinating and leading the municipality-wide development/digitalization council and tasks related to the council's work.
- Coordinating and leading the municipality-wide information security council and tasks related to the council's work.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who wants to help develop Aneby Municipality forward. The following is required for the position:
- Relevant vocational or higher education, or good experience from similar work.
- It is an advantage if you have previous experience working in public operations, preferably within the municipal sector.
- It is also advantageous if you have experience in a similar position.
- Experience in change management is also an advantage.
As a person, we believe you have a genuine interest in development and digitalization and are curious about testing new digital solutions and changed working methods. You have the ability to see the big picture, can adapt, and find win-win solutions through an unpretentious focus on the common goal. You are solution-oriented and see opportunities in difficult and complicated situations by being creative and thinking outside the box.
We also believe that you are a team player who easily builds networks and collaborates with different people, while also having the ability to work independently. You have the ability to create engagement in others and are a good communicator in both speech and writing. You are structured and work according to clear processes. You are good at organizing and structuring your work and completing what you have started within the allotted time.
