HR Specialist at Erikshjälpen
Erikshjälpen is a child rights organization with a non-profit second-hand operation.
We work on around 100 projects in 17 countries and operate about 50 stores under Erikshjälpen Second Hand in Sweden, Norway, and online.
We work towards the vision of “A changed world where children's dreams come to life.”
Our mission is to combat poverty and vulnerability by realizing children's rights worldwide.

Description
You will work within a positive and engaged HR department consisting of an HR manager, HR specialists, labor market coordinators, and occupational health coordinators. We work based on trust within the organization and provide internal training in leadership and operational topics to ensure continuous learning in the organization. Through our social goal, we strive for meaningful employment and sustainable social development within Second Hand, which also influences our HR work.
Responsibilities
The HR mission is to ensure that Erikshjälpen is an attractive employer and to provide professional managerial support to our managers across the country. Your responsibilities include:
- Being a close operational support to operational managers within Erikshjälpen Second Hand in relevant HR issues such as recruitment, rehabilitation, contractual matters, and personnel issues in two of our regions.
- Participating in the regional operational manager meetings.
- Contributing to various HR processes related to HR's mission in the regions.
- Participating in training initiatives within the HR area.
- Administrative tasks related to your assignment are included in the role.
- Travel, primarily to the regions you will be responsible for, is part of the assignment.
Qualifications
You have:
- Education in human resources or equivalent.
- Experience in broad HR work such as managerial support in recruitment, rehabilitation, occupational health, and personnel matters.
- Experience in retail is a plus.
- A positive view of people and a desire to contribute broadly within our HR department.
- You enjoy administration and follow-up.
You are:
- Good at building trust, working in teams, and driving issues independently.
- Structured and possess good organizational skills.
- Flexible in your working style – able to uphold routines and processes while also understanding the everyday life of the stores.
- Sharing Erikshjälpen's values.
