Your new job

As an administrator with us, you will have a varied everyday life focusing on administrative tasks that are crucial for daily operations. You will handle invoices and purchases and provide ongoing support to the unit manager in operational tasks. In your role, you will be responsible for drafting employment contracts for AB and BEA employees, monitoring decisions regarding employment support, and accounting for and requesting state grants for employees both within the Employment Market Department (AMA) and in other municipal departments. The position also includes staffing the reception, providing service to visitors and staff, and close collaboration with managers and colleagues within AMA. You will also have contact with both internal and external stakeholders.

Your qualifications

You have an education in administration, economics, or another relevant qualification at the upper secondary or post-secondary level that is deemed equivalent. We expect you to have several years of experience in administrative work, preferably within the labor market and welfare sectors. As a person, you are structured, meticulous, and enjoy providing good service. AMA is a politically governed organization, and labor market assignments can change rapidly, which requires you to be solution-oriented and flexible. Multilingualism and intercultural competence are advantageous, as we encounter individuals from many countries, cultures, and religions in our operations. Previous experience with welfare systems and public authority work will facilitate daily tasks. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
