For our client Siemens Energy, a leading global player in the energy sector, we are now looking for a Commercial Project Manager Finance for an assignment at their site in Finspång. Thanks to high-tech and innovative product development, the company is an established partner in the energy sector, delivering advanced and sustainable solutions for current and future market needs. This assignment offers you the opportunity to work in an international and forward-thinking environment with many development opportunities. Initially, this is a consulting assignment for 9 months through Unik Resurs, with a very good possibility of extension.

Responsibilities and Duties

As a Commercial Project Manager, you will have full responsibility for commercial and financial matters in the projects, including:

• Responsibility for commercial/financial issues including accounting, legal, tax, currency (FX), and NCM (New Collaboration Model).
• Lead and optimize the project's financial results with high professionalism, e.g., gross profit, cash flow, assets, and financing instruments.
• Prepare commercial documentation for regular project follow-ups and ensure that commercial project data is accurate during the execution phase.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS 15, local GAAP, reporting guidelines, and internal controls.
• Ensure correct project books and records, including registration in relevant systems (e.g., SAP, internal project database, OnePM).
• Initiate invoicing in accordance with the project's progress and contractual terms.
• Ensure the application and ongoing management of financial guarantees, bonds, and project securities.
• Support the project manager in identifying and minimizing non-conformance costs and create a clear reporting structure; contribute to implementing lessons learned in projects and the organization.
• Support the project manager in identifying, evaluating, and assessing risks and opportunities, as well as developing strategies and actions.
• Travel may be required.

Your Profile

• Relevant university education.
• Documented commercial competence and relevant experience.
• Excellent collaboration skills, a holistic perspective, and strong analytical ability.
• Advanced knowledge of PC and systems: SAP and Microsoft tools (e.g., Excel, Teams). Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau/Power BI is a plus.
• Shows ownership, curiosity, and accountability.
• Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
