We at Friday are looking, on behalf of our client, for an engaged and knowledgeable technical communicator for a leading technology company. Here you will have the opportunity to work at the forefront of technology development and contribute to creating important technical documentation for airborne systems!

As a technical communicator, you will work closely with engineers and developers as well as end customers to create qualified technical documentation. You will be an important link in the chain that ensures all technical information is structured and accessible to the intended audience. You will work both independently and in a team to gather and process information, ultimately compiling it in a clear and structured manner. The information flow goes through several systems, where it is important to create a holistic view of the flow.

Your main tasks include, among other things:

• Finding information in technical databases, reading drawings and technical documents
• Creating new and updating existing instructions in the maintenance manual
• Writing service bulletins in publication systems
• Being the link between developers and users

• Has a relevant post-secondary degree, such as technical communication, industrial economics, cognitive science, mechanical engineering, or similar
• Has a technical interest
• Is skilled at searching, interpreting, and understanding information
• Has fluent knowledge of both Swedish and English, in both spoken and written form

We consider it an advantage if you:

• Have experience in technical documentation in a similar role
• Have knowledge of electronics
• Have experience working according to S1000D

The position is a consultancy role where you will be employed by Friday. This position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the current regulations for security protection. For positions where our client has security classification requirements, it may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
