Your Responsibilities

At the Educational Administration's Recruitment Center, we work to recruit educational staff for the municipality's preschools and schools. Here, you and your colleagues contribute expertise in recruitment to help the organizations find competent staff who educate our children and youth. In Linköping municipality, we work with competence-based recruitment based on Malin Lindelöw's competence framework.

As an HR consultant at the Recruitment Center, you work independently with the entire recruitment process, although you also have the support of your colleagues in the unit and the entire HR department. Your main responsibilities include:

• Coaching principals on how to best find the right candidate
• Initiating recruitment processes based on existing templates and writing specifications
• Writing job advertisements to attract the right target group
• Interviewing candidates, making assessments, and writing candidate presentations
• Working for a good candidate experience, for example by providing feedback
• Taking references
• Managing tests in certain recruitments
• Handling administration to ensure compliance with laws and regulations in our recruitment processes

We support recruiting managers throughout the recruitment processes, which means close contact with principals is of great importance. We use tests for certain professional groups, which is a method that will develop more and more in the future.

You will also participate in the organization's continuous improvement work. Examples of areas we will work on in the future include tests, AI, statistics, and KPIs for our operations.

Your Workplace

The Recruitment Center consists of nine employees, of which eight are HR consultants, one administrator, and one unit manager. The Recruitment Center is part of the Educational Administration's HR department, which has about 30 employees in total. Our office is centrally located in Linköping at Apotekaregatan 13 C, where renovations of the entire office area are currently underway, and we expect to move in after the summer of 2026. As a new employee with us, you will have one or more of your closest colleagues as mentors and will be gradually introduced to the assignment. The group has close collaboration on recruitment issues, cases, and helping each other in recruitment processes.

The HR department at the Educational Administration is one of several support functions for the managers in our preschools and schools. The Educational Administration has about 220 managers in the field and approximately 6,000 employees.

In addition to the Recruitment Center at the Educational Administration, there are two other units in Linköping municipality that work with recruitment as their main task. During the fiscal year, collaborations with colleagues in other departments also take place to jointly develop how Linköping municipality should work with recruitment from a comprehensive municipal perspective.

We are now looking for an HR Consultant

The position is a temporary replacement for one of our HR consultants, expected to last from 26.09.01 to 27.08.31.

Who You Are

We are looking for someone with a degree from an HR or PA program or another education that the employer deems equivalent. You should have experience working with competence-based recruitment. It is a merit if you also have previous experience working with AI and using tests in recruitment, as this is a highly relevant area for our operations. Since the position involves creating and reviewing written materials, you must have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.
