Kriminalvården is expanding – we are building new, renovating, and adding on, and we are now looking for more employees. Our most important goal is to reduce recidivism – to break the vicious cycle. If we succeed, society will be safer and more secure for everyone. We are the authority responsible for prisons, probation, detention centers, and client transport.

The Correctional Service's Service Center (KSC) is part of the headquarters and supports the authority in personnel and economic administrative services, support functions, travel booking, administrative efficiency, as well as the authority's switchboard function and appointment booking. KSC acts as a gateway and aims to resolve all incoming inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.

The position is located in the Contact and Employee Service group within the Customer Center section. We work in teams to provide good quality and actively work to develop the section's services to effectively support the core operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your work is varied, and as an administrator, you will work closely with other administrators and staff in the group. You also have a coordinating role towards the core operations, which involves a lot of contact, and you will drive ongoing development work towards Probation within the framework of the customer center's areas.

The role of the administrator focusing on prison/detention is new and will involve starting to coordinate and implement new working methods within the group related to prison and detention. You will, among other things, drive changes related to the switchboard, build and update informational materials, and ensure that routines are followed. The role also involves working on long-term projects related to administration and the switchboard towards Probation, where you need to be attentive to what the core operations need and request.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Complete upper secondary education in the form of a final grade or upper secondary diploma.
• Experience in administrative work in the Office suite.
• Experience in preparing decision-making documents and making decisions within the assigned area of responsibility.
• Extensive experience in work within prison and detention operations.
• The ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish.
• Very good knowledge of the Office suite, primarily Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience working in the Correctional Service Register.
• Experience in administrative work.
• Experience in national support within the Correctional Service.
• The ability to express yourself well in speech in English.
