Kriminalvården is growing – we are building new, renovating, and expanding, and we are now looking for more employees. Our most important goal is to reduce recidivism – to break the vicious cycle. If we succeed, society will be safer and more secure for everyone. We are the authority responsible for prisons, probation, detention centers, and client transport.
The Correctional Services Service Center (KSC) is part of the headquarters and supports the authority in personnel and economic administrative services, support functions, travel booking, administrative efficiency, as well as the authority's switchboard function and appointment booking. KSC serves as an entry point and aims to resolve all incoming inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
The Position
The position is located in the Contact and Employee Service group within the Customer Center section. We work in teams to provide good quality and actively work to develop the section's services to effectively support the core operations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Your work is varied, and as a case officer, you will work closely with other case officers and administrators in the group. You will also have a coordinating role with IT and other groups in the Customer Center, which involves a lot of contact, and you will drive ongoing development work related to the switchboard within the framework of the customer center's areas.
The role of case officer focused on the switchboard is new and will involve starting with coordinating and implementing new working methods within the group related to the switchboard. You will, among other things, drive changes related to the switchboard, build and update informational materials, and ensure that routines are followed. The role also involves working on long-term projects together with other case officers in the group to relieve the core operations regarding telephony.
QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:
- Completed upper secondary education in the form of a final grade or upper secondary diploma.
- Experience in administrative work in the Office suite.
- Experience working in a service-oriented support function, such as customer service.
- Experience in preparing decision-making materials and making decisions within the assigned area of responsibility.
- Experience working in the Trio agent telephony system, answering calls and handling statistics.
- Ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish.
- Very good knowledge of the Office suite, primarily Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
It is advantageous if you have:
- Experience working in the Correctional Services Register.
- Experience with the Correctional Services switchboard.
- Experience from the Correctional Services appointment booking.
- Ability to express yourself well in spoken English.
