Expert for IT Management Support

We are now seeking an expert for the IT Management Support section within the IT Planning unit at the headquarters in Norrköping. The unit is responsible for overall coordination, planning, and follow-up of the IT department's operations and has a special responsibility to ensure effective governance with a focus on the department's ability to fulfill its mission in the long term.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Expert for IT Management Support, you will play a strategically important role in the department's organizational development and support to the IT Director and the department's various management groups. The assignment combines leadership with operational responsibility, where you, together with your colleagues, drive the work towards common goals and contribute to structure, quality, and progress in the department's working methods. You will work on issues that are crucial for the department's governance and development, which includes:

• Producing analyses, forecasts, and decision-making support for management's work in leading, distributing, and prioritizing
• Following up on the organization's goals, quality, and costs in a cohesive perspective, contributing to increased foresight and reduced reactivity
• Working on the department's operational plan, management system, and organization
• Conducting qualified investigations and compiling and analyzing data
• Contributing to organizational development and supporting change management and communication

You will work in a team with similar roles within the department and have close collaboration with the department's financial controller and operational HR expert. The role also involves close collaboration with experts in similar roles in other departments.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a passionate expert who is analytical with good problem-solving skills, has sound judgment, and is interested in development and change work. You see no problems or obstacles but have a strong focus on solutions. We see that you have a good ability to communicate and create new contacts. Additionally, you are flexible and unpretentious. You are calm, stable, and controlled in pressured situations.

We are looking for someone who has:

• An academic education, preferably in communication, HR, economics, or IT, or other education combined with experience that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service deems relevant
• Experience working in an IT organization
• Work experience in organizational development, follow-up, analysis, and governance in a larger organization
• Experience working in a support function and accustomed to producing clear decision-making support
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish
• Experience in change management and project work that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service deems relevant
• Good understanding of how goals, finances, competence supply, and operations are interconnected

It is advantageous if you have:

• Experience working within government or public sector organizations that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service deems relevant
• Documented leadership training
