Your new role

We are looking for a Commercial Project Manager for a leading energy company in Finspång. Here you will have a central role in the company's service projects and be responsible for the commercial and financial aspects throughout the projects' lifecycle.

In this role, you will work closely with project managers and the rest of the project team. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are managed with good economics, accurate reporting, and high quality. Customer satisfaction and clear communication are important parts of your work.

Your main responsibilities

  • Be responsible for all commercial and financial matters in the projects – such as accounting, legal issues, taxes, and currency.

  • Monitor, manage, and optimize the projects' financial results, such as gross margin and cash flow.

  • Prepare and quality assure commercial documentation for project meetings.

  • Ensure that the projects' accounting and reporting comply with IFRS15, local regulations, and internal guidelines.

  • Register and keep project data updated in systems such as SAP and project portals.

  • Initiate invoicing based on project progress and agreed terms.

  • Manage guarantees, securities, and other financial commitments related to the projects.

  • Support the project manager in risk and opportunity analyses as well as in the work of preventing and following up deviations.

  • Contribute to ensuring that experiences and improvement suggestions are utilized within the organization.

To be successful in this role, you need

  • A relevant academic degree.

  • Experience in a similar role and tasks with a commercial focus and finance.

  • Good system skills, preferably with experience in SAP and Excel.

  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

  • Analytical, structured, and good at collaborating.

  • Meritorious: Knowledge of tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
