Kriminalvården is looking for a specialist in personnel security

Kriminalvården is growing – we are building new, renovating, and expanding, and we are now seeking more employees. Our most important goal is to reduce recidivism – to break the vicious cycle. If we succeed, society will be safer and more secure for everyone. We are the authority responsible for prisons, probation, detention centers, and client transport.

The section for individual security is responsible for directing and driving the authority's individual-related security work. The section's tasks include, for example, standardizing and setting security levels, preparing security assessments, being responsible for the authority's work on employee protection and personnel security, and overseeing the dog operations.

This position is located at our headquarters in Norrköping, a 5-minute walk from the train station.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a specialist, you will primarily work with personnel security within the area of security protection. You will assist experts with security clearance, conduct and document security clearance interviews and assessments, and follow up on completed measures. You will collaborate with external and internal parties to ensure compliance with security protection requirements. In addition, you will participate in setting requirements and developing processes and methods within the area of personnel security. Processing the authority's background checks may also occur.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• A degree in a relevant field or other education combined with relevant work experience
• Experience in administrative work in public administration
• Experience in writing decision documents
• Experience in conducting interviews
• Good ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish
• Good knowledge of security work

It is an advantage if you have:

• Training in the field of security
• Training in security clearance interviews
• Experience working in security protection
• Experience with security clearance interviews
• Experience handling confidential and security-classified documents
• Good knowledge of security protection legislation and related regulations and guidelines
