Commercial Project Manager

Do you want to take full responsibility for the commercial and financial aspects of projects and contribute to successful deliveries? We are looking for a driven and analytical commercial project manager who enjoys working closely with project leaders and business partners.

As a commercial project manager, you will work alongside GSO MGT's project management team and report to GSO MGT's head of commercial project management. You will take full responsibility for commercial/financial issues and support the technical project management in executing a defined portfolio of service projects within the goals (e.g., costs, time, quality). Ensuring customer satisfaction is also one of the key factors.

Your Responsibilities

• Be responsible for all commercial and financial matters, including accounting, legal, tax, currency management, and NCM (New Collaboration Model).
• Optimize the project's financial performance - gross profit, cash flow, assets, and financing instruments.
• Prepare commercial documentation for project status meetings and ensure accurate project data during the execution phase.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS15, local GAAP requirements, reporting guidelines, and internal controls.
• Manage accounting and documentation in systems such as SAP, project database, and OnePM.
• Initiate invoicing according to project progress and contractual terms.
• Manage financial guarantees, bonds, and project securities.
• Support the project manager in risk and opportunity analysis, cost minimization, and reporting structure.
• Contribute to learning and improvements in projects and the organization.
• Business travel may occur.

We are looking for you with

• Relevant university degree.
• Professional commercial knowledge and experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, holistic perspective, and analytical ability.
• Advanced PC and system knowledge (SAP and Microsoft applications such as Excel, Teams; visualization tools like Tableau/Power BI are a plus).
• Ability to take ownership, show curiosity, and responsibility.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
