Job Description

As a payroll specialist with us, you will have an exciting assignment where you work both operationally and more strategically. About half of your time will be spent on ongoing payroll tasks, and the remaining time will focus on more specialized tasks.

Your role includes, among other things:

• Driving and developing processes and routines to streamline payroll work.
• Working with digitalization and smart IT tools, including opportunities with AI, to create future-proof solutions.
• Supporting colleagues in complex issues and acting as an expert in your specialist area(s).
• Working in the operational payroll process – for example, with registrations, controls, reporting, and employment administration.
• Providing qualified advice and answering questions from managers, employees, and administrators.
• Participating in or leading assignments related to development, implementation, and training.

Our unit consists of payroll administrators, payroll specialists, system administrators, pension administrators, and business developers.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• has a high school education as a basic requirement, and it is meritorious if you have a degree from a vocational school with a focus on payroll or systems
• has several years of experience in payroll administration and you have or want to take on greater responsibility
• is analytical, proactive, and enjoys a role where you can take responsibility
• has the ability to see the big picture, identify improvement opportunities, and translate ideas into practical solutions
• likes to collaborate, share knowledge, and contribute to the collective competence of the organization
• has an interest or experience in system issues and digitalization
• is knowledgeable about collective agreements, preferably from municipalities/regions

If you have worked with SDWorx Payroll and SDWorx People, it is an advantage.
