Your tasks

In the role of project economy & administration with us, you will have a fun and varied job and an opportunity to develop in project accounting, both regarding large EU projects as well as our various financiers (Vinnova, the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth, and regional actors).

Together with our project managers, you will analyze and follow up on the projects' cost and revenue budgets and identify, analyze, and review any deviations between outcomes and budgets related to the projects. You will assist with support in calculations, ongoing work assessments, requisition work, administration, and reporting to financiers, as well as ensuring that the financiers' financial conditions and guidelines are followed.

You will support and challenge project managers and project owners by providing decision-making materials and analyses as needed. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the project is set up correctly in our financial system, and that we have accurate financial project reporting to our partners and financiers.

As the role is new, you are also expected to help develop tools, routines, and processes internally. The ongoing work will involve contact with many others, internally with project managers, the CEO, and the corporate department at Norrköping Municipality, and externally primarily with financiers, auditors, and authorities.

Who are you?

You have an academic education in economics with at least a few years of experience in qualified economic work in the controller and accounting field.

We would like you to have knowledge of the conditions applicable to existing and new innovation support projects.

As a person, you are self-driven and have a good pedagogical ability to create economic understanding even for those who are not economists.

Since the work is heavily based on dialogue and collaboration, it is important that you have the ability to build and maintain good relationships, both internally and externally.

To thrive in the role, we see that you have analytical skills and that you plan and structure your work carefully. You find it easy to collaborate, communicate, and you enjoy a role where you can be both operational and advisory.

You have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and you also have a good ability to read and understand advanced texts in both languages.
