Forensic Psychiatric Regional Clinic in Vadstena

The clinic is responsible for inpatient care of mentally disturbed offenders and for involuntary care of mentally ill patients from the criminal justice system, detention centers, and psychiatric units. RPR provides highly specialized forensic psychiatric inpatient care with staff that has a broad competence profile. Many of RPR's efforts are carried out in collaboration with other care and community actors, such as courts, correctional services, police, municipalities, and neighboring care providers within the regions. RPR has over 200 employees and currently 90 inpatient places. The clinic has 6 care units, outpatient care, employment, investigation, and administration.

Job Description

We are looking for someone who wants to work with security and service in a team responsible for the clinic's surveillance and logistics, among other things. The tasks include several security-related duties, including actively managing and monitoring the technical equipment in the surveillance centers. As a security operator, you will be responsible for access control (metal detector and X-ray) of staff, patients, visitors, and incoming shipments. You will also be responsible for monitoring the clinic via cameras and monitors and handling various types of alarm functions with associated routines for incidents. You will verify ID for incoming individuals and manage pre-determined bookings.

The role also includes managing internal logistics concerning incoming/outgoing goods, food transport, laundry trolleys, and some other services to the care units.

About You

You have relevant high school qualifications and good IT skills and computer proficiency, preferably documented. Technical education in telecommunications/IT is an advantage. Experience working with described or similar tasks is also considered a merit. You have good knowledge of Swedish and a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing. You should also be able to communicate in English.

We are looking for someone who is service-oriented, has good collaboration skills, is meticulous, and solution-oriented. Good communication skills are a requirement. You express a positive attitude towards your work and our operations, act in accordance with decisions made, our operational plan, policies, and guidelines.

The position is a fixed-term employment from February 16 to August 31. A background check from the police will be requested. We are also looking for people who want to work as on-call substitutes, and the opportunity for on-call work after the fixed-term employment ends is significant.
