Who are we?

The Competence Supply Office is a civil servant support for the Competence Supply Committee. The administration's activities contribute to creating conditions and opportunities for Norrköping to be a place where all people feel good and have faith in the future.

The Budget and Debt Counseling belongs to the specialist unit under the Competence Supply Office. With us, you will find a workplace with a good atmosphere, participation in business development, and an open work climate. The operation is tasked with working outwardly with the goal of reducing and preventing over-indebtedness.

In our unit, we are here for residents of the municipality who are in a challenging financial situation. We work proactively and preventively through individualized financial advice and support that strengthens the financial independence of those seeking advice.

We are an engaged team with a wonderful breadth of both competence and experience. Together, we are 6 colleagues who work closely to provide our clients with the best possible support and service.

We at Budget and Debt Counseling are centrally located in Norrköping at Lindövägen 5. We are now looking for a new engaged colleague who actively wants to contribute to quality and development with us!

Your tasks

As an advisor with us at Budget and Debt Counseling, you will support and help our clients map their daily finances, incomes, and expenses. You will assist clients in establishing budgets, reviewing any debts, finding a way out of indebtedness, and supporting clients in applying for debt restructuring.

In the role of budget and debt advisor, you will experience a wide variety of tasks in a dynamic and rewarding work environment. As an advisor, you will primarily have face-to-face meetings with our clients, but also contact digitally, via phone, and email.

You are an important part of the collaboration with, for example, the Enforcement Authority, the Social Insurance Agency, the Tax Agency, and the Social Office. As a budget and debt advisor, you will work to convey information and education to our citizens.

In a coaching and guiding manner, you contribute to creating opportunities for economic stability and a positive future for those we help.

Who are you?

You have an academic degree in law, economics, or behavioral science. We view positively if you also have experience working with people.

As a person, you are secure and stable. You have a positive attitude in the situations you encounter, where you want to be part of the solution. You meet people in various situations with great respect and empathy, being attentive and professional.

You are skilled in networking and both creating new and maintaining relationships around you, with a good ability to adapt your communication and message according to the target group.

As a budget and debt advisor with us, we also see that you enjoy working independently and have the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively.

To thrive in the role, you also value teamwork and collaboration, wanting to make a real difference for our residents in Norrköping.

As communication is a cornerstone of our operations, you need to communicate well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
