We are looking for an experienced Technical Communicator

We are looking for an experienced Technical Communicator to strengthen our team. Do you have experience in technical information and a passion for communicating complex technical concepts clearly and effectively? In this role, you will be the spider in the web, ensuring that our technical documentation is accurate, clear, and user-friendly. Does that sound interesting? About the Role

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Develop and update technical documentation: You will be responsible for creating new or updating existing technical manuals, handbooks, instructions, and other documentation according to S1000D.
• Make technical information easy to understand: You will work with information in both Swedish and English, using STE to make complex technical concepts comprehensible.
• Collaborate with technical experts: As the spider in the web, you will collaborate with engineers and technical experts to gather and validate information. You need to be good at communicating, gathering, and compiling information to make it uniform, qualitative, and easy to understand for others.
• Work on continuous improvements of documentation processes: You will actively contribute your ideas and experience to improve the processes related to documentation and tools to increase efficiency and quality of work.

We are looking for someone who

• Has an engineering degree and/or several years of experience in the field of technical communication or as a technical writer, with experience in defense or defense industry, such as an officer, engineer, or other technical position being an advantage.
• Has good linguistic and pedagogical skills and is proficient in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.
• Has experience working with S1000D and STE.
• Has experience working with XML tools/editors.
• Is certified in project management such as PMP or IPMA.
• Has the ability to work independently and in a team.
• Is outgoing and good at coordinating, collaborating, and communicating in your daily work.
• Is curious, structured, and meticulous; when given a task, you drive it to completion. You have a positive attitude and the ability to see opportunities, enjoying working on both large and small projects.

Depending on the assignment, the work will be carried out either on-site with the client or from our office.

We work within the defense industry but also have many civilian customers, so there are great opportunities for variation.

As the position involves work covered by defense secrecy, you must undergo and be approved in a security clearance with background check.
