Group Manager for ILS Sub Systems Management

BAE Systems Hägglunds in Örnsköldsvik is in an expansive phase due to several new billion-dollar contracts.

ILS Sub Systems Management is a department that is growing both in terms of personnel and projects, which is why we now need to recruit a group manager to support the line manager.

Your Future Challenge

The unit currently has 23 employees but needs to grow further in the long term to meet our project commitments in our customer countries. The Sub Systems Management unit consists of DPL ILS, which is a deputy project management role with deliveries in large complex projects. The unit also consists of roles responsible for coordinating supplier documentation and initial spare parts.

In your role as group manager, your tasks will include:

• Leading, distributing, and following up on work in collaboration with the line manager for ILS Sub Systems Management.

You will have many internal and external contact points, so it is important that you understand our processes and interfaces. You have a desire to create good conditions for the unit to deliver according to set goals. We are constantly evolving, and therefore you need to enjoy changes and improvements. Travel in the job is required.

Your position will be 50% as a group manager with direct personnel responsibility, and the remaining 50% will involve project and line-related tasks.

Reporting will be directly to the line manager of ILS Sub Systems Management, and you will be part of the ILS section's management group.

You have good collaboration skills and can communicate with both employees and our customers in a way that is clear, concise, and structured.

We are looking for someone who is a leader and has a desire to continue developing. You have an academic background or equivalent practical experience. Experience with our products is an advantage. Basic IT skills in the Office suite are a requirement, and experience with business systems is a plus. We are part of a global corporation with many foreign customers, so you need to have good knowledge of both Swedish and English, in both spoken and written form.
