ABOUT THE POSITION

As a production engineer for our partner in Örnsköldsvik, you will have a central role in turning ideas into smart and sustainable production solutions. You will be responsible for developing and improving production setups, balancing data, and risk analyses, while optimizing work standards, ergonomics, tools, layout, and staffing. Through analyses and studies, you will identify areas for improvement and ensure efficiency and quality at every step. You will work closely with several departments and serve as an important link between design and production.

This is a consultancy assignment, which means you will be employed by Academic Work and work on assignment for our client. Since this is a long-term position, there are good opportunities for being over-recruited, provided that all parties are satisfied with the collaboration. RESPONSIBILITIES

Tasks

  • Drive Quality Assurance and Investigations: You will be the expert leading the review, fact collection, and investigation of suspected deviations to quickly identify root causes and ensure that products meet the highest standards.
  • Strategic Decision-Making: You assess the severity of deviations, set priorities, and decide on effective corrective actions to minimize risk and maintain quality.
  • Lead and Collaborate: You initiate and lead cross-functional quality meetings, act as a catalyst for collaboration, and drive a common agenda for quality.
  • Proactive Quality Control and Improvement: You ensure incoming materials through inspections against specified requirements and actively participate in ongoing work to improve and optimize processes.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Has a degree in quality engineering or production engineering or has acquired that knowledge through experience.
  • Has practical experience in quality work and a good understanding of technical documentation.
  • Communicates fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as both languages are used in daily work.

It is meritorious if you have:

  • Connection/live in Örnsköldsvik.
  • Previous experience of similar tasks and positions.
