Omexom's unit in Sundsvall is a powerful player in electrical power and energy infrastructure, with several large-scale projects driving Sweden's energy transition. The unit mainly works with station projects in electrical power, which includes the design, installation, and maintenance of substations and control systems. ABOUT THE ROLE As an electric designer, you will be a key player in our projects. You will be responsible for the design of control systems for substations. The role combines technical expertise with practical work, as you will also have the opportunity to perform testing and commissioning at our customers' sites. Our projects span the entire chain in stations from 10 kV up to 400 kV – there is both breadth and challenge for you who want to develop.

Travel and overnight stays are a natural part of the job, giving you the opportunity to meet new environments and people, and to grow in your role in a dynamic and stimulating way. 

In your role as an electric designer, you will report to the group manager and be based in Sundsvall.  Furthermore, this is a permanent position with a probationary period of six (6) months with immediate start.

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for someone with a few years of experience as an electric designer or similar tasks within distribution, regional, or transmission networks.

• You have documented experience in the design of substations from 10 kV up to 400 kV
• You are accustomed to working with Elmaster or Elprocad
• You thrive in an environment where you can combine analysis and problem-solving with practical implementation.

Furthermore, you are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and hold a valid driver's license B.
