About the position
ONE Nordic Hydro is a leading player in electrical and control equipment for hydropower. With a strong market position and several of the most exciting contracts in the industry, they are setting the standard for both technology development and sustainability.
As an electrical designer, you will play a crucial role in contract projects involving electrical and control equipment. You will work on both large and small projects and contribute your expertise throughout the process – from tendering and design to testing, commissioning, and final documentation.

Responsibilities
- Be responsible for design within electrical, control, and regulation in both large and small projects
- Support project managers with technical requirements in tendering
- Perform calculations and dimensioning
- Participate in testing and commissioning
- Ensure documentation after project completion
We are looking for someone who
- Has a post-secondary education in electrical engineering or another equivalent education
- Has extensive experience in electrical design and instrumentation, preferably within hydropower or industry
- Has advanced knowledge of CAD systems such as Elprocad and/or AutoCad with applications, for example, Elmaster
- Communicates fluently in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written – as you will use the languages in both documentation and daily dialogue
- Holds a valid driver's license as travel is required for the position
It is a merit if you have
- Knowledge of high, medium, and low voltage switchgear
- Experience from turbine and generator facilities
- Knowledge of relay protection and DC systems

The position is security classified, which means that a security clearance will be conducted before employment. The security clearance includes a background check and security interview in accordance with the Security Protection Act.
