We are now strengthening our department Omexom Backup Power with several technicians. Omexom Backup Power is an expert organization in solutions for secure power supply. We work on projects that ensure operational reliability for essential services through the installation and upgrading of backup power facilities. ABOUT THE ROLE

As a technician within Omexom Backup Power, you will work with various backup power facilities at customer sites. The projects are located throughout Sweden; from Malmö to Kiruna. Your main responsibilities are:

• Service of existing backup power facilities at customer sites
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving of backup power facilities
• Commissioning of backup power units 
• Automation replacements on backup power facilities 

Initially, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced technicians to gradually grow into the role. You will report to the group manager within Omexom Backup Power in Örnsköldsvik. The position is based in Örnsköldsvik or Sundsvall and travel occurs throughout Sweden.

 YOUR PROFILE

To be successful in the role of technician, you should have a high school education in technology, electricity, control, or automation technology. It is advantageous if you have work experience and knowledge in power systems. Furthermore, it is beneficial if you have experience with backup power, UPS, rectifier systems, switchgear, and knowledge of PLC.

You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and have good knowledge of the Office suite and hold a B driver's license.

As a person, you enjoy challenges and are cheerful, positive, and curious. You have the ability to work in a structured and meticulous manner while being able to handle pressured situations and work independently. Towards customers, suppliers, and colleagues, you are service-minded and humble.
