ValueOne is looking for a Quality Engineer for a consulting assignment with one of our clients in Örnsköldsvik. The assignment will be filled according to agreement and will last for one year with the possibility of extension.

About the role

As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring and developing production quality in accordance with applicable requirements, drawings, and standards. The role involves close collaboration with various functions within the organization, where you actively contribute to preventing quality issues and streamlining work methods.

Main responsibilities:

  • Manage and analyze deviations in production.
  • Initiate and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Conduct root cause analyses and drive improvement activities.
  • Ensure that production complies with quality requirements, drawings, and standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to prevent quality issues.
  • Participate in and develop processes for quality control and internal inspection.
  • Contribute to the standardization and streamlining of work methods.

Experience and competence

You have several years of experience in quality work within the manufacturing industry and are accustomed to handling deviations, complaints, and driving improvement work. We believe you have good knowledge of quality methods and tools, as well as a solid understanding of reading drawings and measurement techniques. You are fluent in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written. It is an advantage if you have previous experience from a technical role and if you have worked in the SAP business system.

As a person, you are communicative, solution-oriented, and practically minded. You are structured and analytical and enjoy collaborating cross-functionally.
