ValueOne is looking for a Production Planner for a consulting assignment with our client in Örnsköldsvik. The assignment starts in January 2026 and lasts for 12 months with a good possibility of extension.
ValueOne specializes in Supply Chain Management - procurement and logistics. About the role
As a Production Planner, you will play a key role in the production flow, ensuring that the right things happen at the right time. You will balance order situations, forecasts, and capacity to make the planning work, while collaborating with operational procurement, production, and project managers to secure materials on site. You will monitor key performance indicators, manage bottlenecks, and contribute smart ideas to improve the planning process.
Main responsibilities:
- Create and follow up on production plans.
- Plan and organize production based on order situation, manufacturing capacity, and forecasts.
- Ensure that the right materials are available on time through close collaboration with procurement and logistics.
- Identify and address any obstacles or bottlenecks in production.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators such as delivery reliability and capacity utilization.
- Work on improvement initiatives to develop the planning process.
Experience and skills
For the role of Production Planner, you should have good system proficiency in ERP systems and be fluent in both English and Swedish. It is an advantage if you have previous experience in production planning within the manufacturing industry, are skilled in Excel, and have experience with analytical tools such as Power BI or Clickview. We also see it as beneficial if you have a post-secondary education in logistics.
To thrive and succeed as a Production Planner, you need to be structured, analytical, and have good collaboration skills. You are communicative and solution-oriented, with the ability to handle changes and take initiative.
