Your Future Challenge

At BAE Systems Hägglunds, we are on an exciting expansion journey and are now looking for more engaged colleagues who want to make a difference. We are seeking a committed junior mechanical designer for our Mechanical Architecture & External Development department who wants to develop in mechanical design and contribute to creating efficient and innovative solutions. The department currently consists of a tight-knit group of 10 individuals in roles such as designer, business developer, Catia coordinator, CAD/PLM training coordinator, and standards coordinator.

About the Role

In this role, you will work on various tasks, including standardization of components and CAD modeling and drawing production, in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Your tasks will include:

• Developing and implementing standardized design solutions.
• Participating in the creation and updating of decals and markings in our products.
• Supporting the design team with simpler CAD modeling and drawing production.
• Ensuring high quality in design documentation and materials.
• Collaborating with various functions to ensure quality and compliance with standards.

Who You Are

We are looking for someone who has:

• A technical education in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of CAD (e.g., Catia, SolidWorks, or similar).
• Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
