Reliability and Maintenance Engineer

Do you want to work with the defense technology of the future and make a real difference? BAE Systems Hägglunds is now looking for driven and committed reliability and maintenance engineers – both those at the beginning of their careers and those with experience in the field.

With us, you will work with advanced technology in exciting projects where you contribute to the development of sustainable, efficient, and future-proof combat vehicles. This is an opportunity to combine your interest in technology with real impact – from idea to delivery. We are growing, and we need more people, welcome with your application!

Why you will thrive with us

With us, you will work with high-tech products in an organization that has both breadth and depth. You will have the opportunity to be involved from the first ideas to seeing the products roll out to customers – something that provides both pride and context. Our work environment is characterized by a joy of technology, a lack of prestige, and a strong team spirit. You will have great opportunities for professional development, internal networking, and a career path that can be shaped according to your ambitions.

Your future challenge

As a reliability and maintenance engineer with us, you will be an important part of our team within Reliability and Maintenance (R&M/LSA). Here, you will work on developing and improving maintenance concepts for our vehicles, in close collaboration with system engineers, designers, and other specialists. Using 3D CAD tools like Catia, you will analyze and optimize the reliability of systems and components – all the way from the concept phase to field follow-up and design improvements.

You will work in a dynamic development environment where the entire product lifecycle is the focus. This means you will be involved from early analyses and specifications to practical work with troubleshooting, life cycle costs, and maintenance strategies. You will belong to a competent team of specialists in LCC, diagnostics, and system analysis – a context where your knowledge both develops and makes a difference.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is a civil or university engineer, preferably with a focus on mechanical engineering, mechanics, electrical engineering, hydraulics, or a similar technical area. You can be newly graduated or have several years of experience in maintenance, design, or systems work – regardless of background, we believe you have a genuine interest in technology and a desire to understand how things work in depth.

It is an advantage if you have experience with CAD tools, such as Catia or equivalent, as well as troubleshooting or maintenance planning. For the position, you must be proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

As a person, you are analytical, meticulous, and solution-oriented. You thrive in collaboration with others, are communicative, and enjoy sharing knowledge. We value a positive attitude, accountability, and the ability to see both details and the big picture.

What you will be a part of

With us, you will have fun at work, and no day will be like the other! You will be involved when the product comes to life from idea to when it rolls out to the customer. You will work with the technology of the future in a global company where you have great opportunities for competence and career development.
