We are now strengthening our department Omexom Backup Power with a technician.
Omexom Backup Power is an expert organization in solutions for secure power supply. We work on projects that ensure operational reliability for essential services through the installation and upgrading of backup power facilities. ABOUT THE ROLE
As a technician within Omexom Backup Power, you will work with various backup power facilities at customer sites. The projects are located throughout Sweden; from Malmö to Kiruna.
Your main responsibilities include:
Service of existing backup power facilities at customer sites
Troubleshooting and problem-solving of backup power facilities
Commissioning of backup power units
Automation changes on backup power facilities
Initially, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced technicians to gradually grow into the role. You will report to the group manager within Omexom Backup Power. The position is based in Örnsköldsvik or Sundsvall, and travel throughout Sweden is required.
YOUR PROFILE
You have several years of experience as a technician where you have worked with testing in electrical power systems or automation.
Experience with backup power, switchgear, UPS, and PLC is an advantage.
Furthermore, you have a minimum of a high school education in electrical, control, or automation technology or equivalent. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and have good knowledge of the Office suite and hold a B driver's license.
As a person, you are meticulous and structured. You enjoy working independently but also like to communicate with customers, suppliers, and colleagues in the field. Additionally, you are interested in technology and like to stay updated to develop your skills.
