ABOUT THE POSITION

Nordhydraulic is part of the Hydac Group and specializes in the development and production of hydraulic valves and controls. As a Quality Engineer, you will be a key person in the quality organization and work closely with production teams to create robust processes and ensure product quality throughout the flow. You will be responsible for preventing quality deviations, driving internal and external communication regarding quality issues, and contributing to a culture where continuous improvements are in focus.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

As a Quality Engineer, you will work to ensure and develop quality throughout the production process. Your role is to proactively implement quality tools, drive improvement initiatives, and act as an important link between production, customers, and suppliers in quality matters.

You will be responsible for:

• Quality tools such as FMEA, control plans, MSA, SPC, 8D, and PPAP/APQP
• Customer contact regarding quality issues, including deviation reporting and follow-up for key customers
• Conducting internal and supplier-related audits according to relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949)
• Driving continuous improvements by identifying opportunities and implementing solutions for increased efficiency and quality

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field
• Has at least a couple of years of experience in quality, production engineering, or design
• Has good experience with quality tools such as 8D, FMEA, and PPAP
• Has experience with Lean work and continuous improvement processes
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as both languages are used in daily work

Furthermore, it is an advantage if you have experience working with Monitor ERP System.
