Your Future Challenge

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and following up on quality issues.
• Managing and following up on quality documents.
• Following up on trial production within the framework of quality.
• Assisting in measurements related to quality in the operations.
• Creating complaint reports and contacting suppliers.
• Reviewing the supplier's identified root cause, proposed corrective action, and implementation of these.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Adhering to the company's quality processes, methods, and execution.
• Identifying quality problems in processes and products.
• Working with root cause analysis and continuous improvements.

The production quality department you will be part of is within a section of BAE called Prototype and Hull. Within our section, we build the chassis that later become finished vehicles, and we have all processes with high-tech machines from cutting to painting in-house.

You will work together in a team of approximately 16 people with competencies in production quality, measurement technology, and inspectors in welding and non-destructive testing.

This Quality Technician role is combined with an SQA (Supplier Quality Assurance) responsibility, which involves working with complaints and following up on corrective actions from suppliers.

Reporting will be to the head of production quality.

Who You Are

We are looking for someone with a technical university degree, production technical vocational training, or acquired knowledge through experience. We prefer that you have practical experience in quality work. You have production experience and may also have worked in purchasing.

If you have previous experience with the SAP business system and Excel, that is a plus. Since we are an international corporation, you need to have good knowledge of both Swedish and English, spoken and written.

You are a driven problem solver who works goal-oriented and enjoys being the spider in the web. The work requires good communication skills and an interest in collaborating regardless of who you meet.
