Sales Engineer at SEW-EURODRIVE in Northern Sweden

We are looking for a technically skilled and consultative sales engineer who wants to help develop our business in Northern Sweden. With your expertise, ability to build trust, and create long-term customer relationships, you will become a key person in our continued growth journey.

About the Company

SEW-EURODRIVE AB has been a wholly owned subsidiary of SEW-EURODRIVE GmbH & Co KG in Germany since 1968, which is a world leader in drive technology for industry. Our Swedish headquarters and factory are located in Jönköping, where we assemble gearboxes, motors, frequency converters, and control systems. Our sales offices are located in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Jönköping, Skellefteå, and Gällivare. Our customers are found within Swedish industries such as automotive, distribution, food, paper and wood, and mining and steel industries. Your Responsibilities

As a sales engineer, you will be responsible for developing existing customers and creating new business opportunities. You will drive the sales process from the first contact to closure, always with support from experienced colleagues in sales, inside sales, and application support. Your customers are mainly machine builders, within industries such as sawmills and pulp.

Travel is a natural part of the role as the sales area extends from Gävle and northward. Regarding placement, we prefer that you are based in Skellefteå, where the majority of the team is located. However, for the right candidate, we also offer the possibility of being based in Sundsvall or Hudiksvall.

Your Background/Your Qualities

We are looking for someone with a technical background and a genuine interest in industrial solutions and business.

We believe you have:

  • Post-secondary technical education, preferably a bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience in technical sales within automation, industry, or a similar field.
  • Good understanding of automation and control technology.

You are accustomed to understanding customers' technical needs, translating them into solutions, and building long-term relationships. As a person, you are business-oriented, structured, and have the ability to drive your work independently towards clear goals.
