We are looking for an employee to work with preparation and project management within fiber networks.

You will be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing fiber projects – focusing on quality, efficiency, and reliability.

About the position

The position offers you a central role in the planning and execution of work within Övik Energi's fiber network. You will work closely with our technicians and contractors to ensure a reliable, modern, and sustainable infrastructure. The role involves both administrative and practical work – where you combine technical understanding with good planning skills and structure.

In this role, you will:

• Design and prepare various types of fiber works and reinvestments.
• Conduct field visits to gather data and develop technical solutions.
• Create drawings, calculations, material lists, and documentation for contracts.
• Coordinate with landowners, municipalities, contractors, and other utility owners.
• Apply for permits and manage agreements for land and excavation.
• Lead projects and follow up on time, budget, and quality.
• Document in our mapping system Digpro.

In the long term, the position may also involve on-call duties, where you will be part of a group ready to handle urgent matters.

Who are you?

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:

• Have relevant technical post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
• Have experience in design, preparation, and project management.
• Enjoy working both independently and in a team.
• Are meticulous and structured, with an eye for detail.
• Have a driver's license (requirement), as our sites are spread over a large geographic area within the municipality.

It is an advantage if you have experience with fiber installation as well as documentation and use of digital tools.
