Project Manager in Hydropower

As a project manager, you will have overall responsibility for planning, driving, and following up on larger and more complex projects, primarily within electrical and control equipment but also mechanical gate projects. The role involves working both operationally and strategically, combining leadership, technology, and business development in close dialogue with customers and colleagues.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

In this role, you will independently drive large projects within the energy sector, focusing on ensuring delivery according to time, budget, and quality. You will be responsible for the business goals of the projects, financial aspects, and building long-term customer relationships, while also leading and inspiring your project team.

• Lead and drive projects from planning to delivery with a focus on time, budget, and quality
• Maintain continuous dialogue with customers to understand their needs and requirements
• Ensure that the business goals of the projects are met and that customers are satisfied
• Coordinate resources and collaborate with both internal and external parties
• Identify and manage risks
• Inspire and support the project team towards common goals

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has a post-secondary education in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
• Several years of experience in project management from a technical or contractor-related business
• Good experience in having financial responsibility for larger projects
• Good experience with business systems, preferably IFS or SAP
• Communicates fluently in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written – as you will use the languages in documentation and daily dialogue
• Holds a B driver's license

It is a merit if you have:

• Experience from the energy industry
• Experience with BAS-P/BAS-U
• Knowledge of contract law
