ABOUT THE POSITION

As an electrical designer, you will play a crucial role in contract projects related to electrical and control equipment. You will work on both large and small projects and contribute your expertise throughout the process – from tendering and design to testing, commissioning, and final documentation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for design within electrical, control, and regulation in both large and small projects
• Support project managers with technical requirements in tendering
• Perform calculations and dimensioning
• Participate in testing and commissioning
• Ensure documentation after project completion

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has a post-secondary education in electrical engineering or another equivalent education
• Has extensive experience in electrical design and instrumentation, preferably in hydropower or industry
• Advanced knowledge in CAD systems such as Elprocad and/or AutoCad with applications, e.g., Elmaster
• Communicates fluently in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written – as you will use the languages in both documentation and daily dialogue
• Holds a B driver's license as travel is required in the role

It is an advantage if you have

• Knowledge of high, medium, and low voltage switchgear
• Experience from turbine and generator facilities
• Knowledge of relay protection and DC systems

The position is security classified, which means that a security clearance will be conducted before employment. The security clearance includes a background check and a security interview in accordance with the Security Protection Act.
