Vehicle Propulsion

The unit & group, Vehicle Propulsion, is responsible for the complete vehicle propulsion (regardless of platform) as well as for product strategies within the design section.

Currently, the unit consists of 45 people, divided into 3 groups: Vehicle Propulsion, Powertrain Design & Subsystem Design. As a Team Leader, you will be part of Vehicle Propulsion and report directly to the Unit Manager.

Your future challenge

As a Team Leader, you have the ultimate responsibility for time and cost concerning the unit's overall project portfolio. This means that you, as Team Leader, will coordinate all projects related to the Vehicle Propulsion unit regarding timelines and costs. This assignment largely involves supporting Responsible Designers with their Subsystem Planning and thus ensuring that these timelines synchronize with each other and with the overall project timeline and budget.

In this role, you will also become part of the unit's management team, which includes the Unit Manager, Group Managers, and Lead Engineers.

We are looking for someone with an academic degree and a burning interest in project management!

As a Team Leader within the Vehicle Propulsion group, you are expected to have good planning skills and the ability to visualize these timelines in a clear manner. In addition, you need to have a good understanding of priorities and boundaries and how these elements can affect the product and customer over time. We also believe that you enjoy working both independently and in a team, as the work is project-based, and that you are a humble team player who is willing to contribute suggestions. As a person, you should also be communicative and structured, with good professional skills in both Swedish and English.
