Omexom's unit in Sundsvall is a powerful player in electrical power and energy infrastructure, with several large-scale projects driving Sweden's energy transition. The unit mainly works with station projects within electrical power, which includes construction, installation, and maintenance of substations and control systems. ABOUT THE ROLE As a control systems engineer, you will be a key player in our projects. You will be responsible for programming relay protection terminals and control systems for substations. The role combines technical expertise with practical work, as you will also have the opportunity to perform testing and commissioning at our customers' sites. Our projects span the entire chain in stations from 10 kV up to 400 kV – here you will find both breadth and challenge for those who want to develop. We also work with digital substations.

Travel and overnight stays are a natural part of the job, giving you the opportunity to meet new environments and people, and to grow in your role in a dynamic and stimulating way. 

In your role as a control systems engineer, you will report to the group manager and be based in Sundsvall. Furthermore, this is a permanent position with a probation period of six (6) months with immediate start.

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for someone with several years of experience as a control systems engineer or similar tasks within distribution, regional, or transmission networks.

• You have documented experience with relay protection and their functions.
• You are accustomed to working with brands like ABB and Siemens (other brands may also be involved) as well as Omicron testing equipment.
• You thrive in an environment where you can combine analysis and problem-solving with practical implementation.

Furthermore, you are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and hold a valid driver's license (B).
